Boxing star Ebanie Bridges has admitted some people from the boxing world used to look at her like an 'adult star with bolt-ons'.

However, the Blonde Bombshell has since proved her doubters wrong - and she's the current IBF Bantamweight Champion. Speaking on NoContextSport, Bridges said: "There wasn't very many girls, before I came on the scene, that embraced femininity.

"You know, wore make-up, looked very feminine, had big bolt-ons - you know, that wasn't common. So they just looked at me like some porn star, or some model that was trying to box.

"And, really, I got a lot of respect from the Shannon Courtney fight, because I showed my heart, but they still continued to overlook me!"

Bridges was then asked what her response is to the people who think she's disrespecting the sport: "I bring eyes to the sport. You can f*** what you say.

"People are tuning into my fights, whether or not to watch me box or watch my t*** bounce, they're tuning in. And then they're seeing that I can fight!"

Bridges turned heads with her weigh-ins - in which Bridges regularly wears skimpy lingerie. However, she has also proved she can go inside the square circle, winning the IBF Bantamweight World Championships.

However, the Australian is yet to step back into the ring since her last title defence, where she put on a show against compatriot Shannon O'Connell. O'Connell had been vocal in her criticism of Bridges - until Bridges proved her wrong in the ring.

Bridges broke her hand in the win, and she's yet to return to action as she rehabs the injury and gets back to her best in training.
